Purchasing a Puppy from Nordic Star
How much do your puppies cost?
When can I pick up my new puppy?
Can I visit my new puppy before I pick it up?
Why won't you airship or deliver my puppy to me?
Question: How much do your puppies cost?
|
Answer: Our puppies are sold at what we consider to be a reasonable fee. This price is listed on our contract which can be viewed on-line. We are not the most expensive breeder and we are not the cheapest. We believe in a fair price that is not over exaggerated. If price is the only issue in your purchasing a puppy, you may want to consider if you can afford the additional puppy shots and vet visits. Also consider the cost of monthly heart worm medications, food and unexpected illnesses of injury that may require veterinary care.

Question: Can I visit my new puppy before I pick it up?
|
Answer: You may, but only after the puppy is 6 weeks of age and has had its first set of shots. This is a requirement that we strictly adhere to. We want to limit the puppy's exposure to outside viruses as much as possible until their immune system has a chance to develop to a degree.

Question: Why won't you airship or deliver my puppy to me?
|
Answer: We do not airship, period. We believe that the puppy is subjected to unnecessary stress at an early age. In addition, Airlines consider pets as just another piece of baggage and really do not provide any additional care as one might expect. We do no deliver puppies. You must pick up your puppy from our home. We want to put a face with the puppies we sell and discuss in person, the care and needs of our puppies. Picking up your puppy shows a certain commitment to us.
